About this resource
Twelve picture cue cards for the classroom, free: stop, wait, quiet voice, my turn, look, listen, ask for help, break, line up, walk, clean up and hands to self. Each card is one clear picture and one or two words. Print, cut, punch a hole and thread them on a ring, and you have a set you can hold up across the room.
WHAT IS INCLUDED — 9 pages
- 12 visual cue cards in full color, 2 inches square
- The same 12 cards in black-and-white ink-saver, for a photocopier or low ink
- 12 blank cue cards to draw your own
- A page on building the ring, with pictures: cut, punch, thread (and what to use if you have no ring)
- A "say it once" page: one short line for each card
- A Start Here page and a page of more cue card sets
3 Steps
1. Print the color or ink-saver cards. No prep, no editing, no account.
2. Cut on the dashed lines and thread the cards on a one-inch book ring.
3. Hold up one card, say the one line, and wait.
Cutting Is Easy
Every sheet has 12 cards laid out edge to edge, so it is 5 straight cuts for a whole sheet.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a print-and-go PDF. It works offline and prints the same everywhere. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document, and it is not a behavior plan. What you do with a cue is for you and your team.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers, paraprofessionals, speech-language pathologists and PreK to 3rd grade teachers who want a quick, low-prep set of picture cues for the classroom.
