Questions

What can it measure?

Reading (letter names and sounds, phonemic awareness, phonics patterns, sight words, sentences, comprehension), spelling, writing and grammar, and math from number identification and facts through fractions, decimals and equations: 230 skills with ready-made probe forms. For behavior, social, communication, routines, writing and anything without a probe, it builds the right data sheet instead: trial-by-trial, frequency count, duration, task analysis, rubric, or a timed reading log.

Does it write the goal for me?

If you describe a need instead of pasting a goal, it drafts one in measurable form from the probe's own wording. Anything it can't know, such as the target score, the date or the number of probes, is left in [brackets] for your IEP team to decide. It never invents a criterion.

Can I change the probes?

Yes, per goal: five items instead of ten, large print, your own word list, a point-to-it format with three choices, picture choice for CVC words, ten-frame pictures on early addition and subtraction, and the supports you allow, listed on your scoring key with a row to note which were used each time.

Is it the same as your probe packs?

The probe forms, directions and graphs come from the same generators as the per-skill probe packs in the shop. The packet adds your goals, printed on each goal page and scoring key, a clean student page for every form the student reads or writes on, and puts all of a student's goals in one file.

What format is it?

A fillable PDF. Type into it in any PDF reader, including the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, or print it blank. It is not a Google Slides or Google Docs file.
