About this resource

Ten grade 3-6 IEP goals for applied math word problems that carry a real-world measurement, geometry, finance or multi-step reasoning step on top of the fact — not bare computation — each with six probe forms and a graph scaled to the probe.

Ten skills, one per file: circle word problems (circumference and area), area of triangles word problems, volume word problems, weight and capacity word problems, customary length word problems, GCF and LCM word problems, compound interest word problems, simple interest word problems, multiplication and division word problems beyond 100, and multiplicative comparison word problems. This is a second applied-math cluster that sits next to this store's first Word Problem & Applied Math Bundle (whole-number, decimal and ratio word problems) without repeating it, and next to the bare-computation Geometry and Measurement Probes Bundle and Number Theory & Fractions Probes Bundle (practice facts, no word problem framing) without repeating those either.

WHAT IS IN THE BUNDLE - 10 fillable PDFs, 180 pages, 60 probe forms

What Every File Contains

What This Is, And What It Is Not

Fillable PDFs. Goal pages, the goal box on every probe form, and data logs are type-in fields: click, type, Save As once per student. The probe forms are meant to be printed: one copy per student per week, the student writes on the form, and that same sheet is the one you score. Works offline with no account or subscription; nothing calculates percents or draws the graph for you.

Not a norm-referenced assessment. No benchmark scores, no "typical" rates; the criteria in the sample goals are in brackets because your team sets them from the baseline and the student's IEP. Every probe is untimed on purpose and the goal pages say so, so the condition stays the same all year.

Who This Is For

Third through sixth grade special education teachers and case managers writing applied-math goals that cover geometry, measurement or financial-literacy word problems, intervention teachers, and the paraprofessionals who give the weekly probe.
