About this resource

A 100s chart with numbers missing is how children practice the pattern of the chart: across goes up by 1, down goes up by 10. This is a complete kit for it, K-2: the whole chart with a few boxes empty up to mostly empty, whole missing rows and columns, small pieces of the chart, plus-shaped puzzles, and a cut-and-glue chart fragment, with the record-keeping around it so nothing has to be written from scratch.

EVERYTHING INSIDE (29 pages)

The Six Skills

1. Fill the Chart: the whole 10 x 10 chart with 15, 30 or 50 boxes empty.

2. Missing Rows: whole rows are empty; each row starts 10 more than the one above.

3. Missing Columns: whole columns are empty; each box is 10 more than the one above.

4. Chart Pieces: four 4 x 4 pieces of the chart per page, taken from different places, with boxes missing.

5. Plus Puzzles: a number and the numbers just above, below, left and right of it; at the harder level only one number is given.

6. Cut and Glue: six numbers to cut out and glue into a 4 x 6 fragment of the chart.

Built For The Child Holding The Page

A big "My name" line, one short instruction with a picture, large rounded numbers, answer boxes big enough for a child's pencil, and dots (not words) to show which level a page is. Nothing on a student page is written for an adult. Cutting is 6 numbers in a 3-by-2 block, so it takes a few straight cuts.

Every Number Is Generated, Never Typed

Every chart number, empty box, answer and key line, and every number in the filled example, is computed from the same data at build time, so the pages and the keys cannot drift apart. Seeded shuffles keep the cut-out numbers from sitting in a guessable order.

Type In, Or Print

The name and date lines, every answer box, the tracker, the roll-up, the family note and the game sheet are type-in fields in any PDF reader. Every student page also prints clean in black and white and is pencil work. This is a fillable PDF; it is not a Google Slides, Google Docs or PowerPoint file.

Who This Is For

Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms, self-contained and resource rooms, small groups and centers, and families practicing the 100s chart at home.

What This Is, And What It Is Not

A set of missing-number worksheets for the 100s chart with the record-keeping around it. It is not a timed test, a screener, a clinical tool, or a claim about any student's age or rate of progress. There is no IEP goal language or eligibility wording anywhere in the file.
