About this resource
Print-and-go working memory activities for grades 1-5, written for the student to play. The student looks at a row of pictures, covers it, and circles what they saw; finds the picture that is gone; says pictures again in the same order; reads or looks at 3 things, covers them and writes them down; and makes a game of their own for a friend. Memory Match cards and Remember-3 cards are cut and kept for games at a desk, in a center or at home. A log counts the rounds. These are student games and worksheets for practice, not a teacher observation form.
The Student Pages
Every student page has a "My name" line, one short instruction with a picture, big pictures and big rounded words, and room to circle, color or write. The pictures are everyday things a child knows: fruit, animals, vehicles, toys and things in nature. The student in the example is invented.
The Cards
Memory Match is a pairs game for one child or two. The Remember-3 cards are a quick look-hide-say game. Use a blank card for any picture that is not printed here.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the name lines, the writing lines, the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.
Who This Is For
Teachers, special education teachers, counselors and paraprofessionals who want short, concrete memory games and worksheets for grades 1-5, and the families who get the home page.
