About this resource
Writing a spelling word three times is a plain routine that works because the child does it. This is the paper: type your word list once on a page, print it, and every word gets three ruled write boxes, each about an inch and a half wide, a check box, a name and date line at the top.
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 22 pages

- 12 Words: 12 rows, three write lines each, 0.54 in tall
- 15 Words: 15 rows, three write lines each, 0.5 in tall
- 20 Words in two pages: words 1 to 10 and words 11 to 20, three write lines each

Most spelling sheets are one list with three columns and no room to write. These give every word three ruled write boxes, and you type the word once on each page instead of three times.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type your words into the Word boxes, or print and write them in by hand. Children write in the ruled boxes with a pencil, or type into them. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT a Google Slides, Google Docs or PowerPoint file, and it does not copy your words from one page to the next or check spelling for you. Type the list on each page you print. You cannot drag the boxes around or restyle the pages.
There is no word list in it. The words are yours, and which words, how many a child learns and what a test result means is your classroom's rule. The example uses ten invented practice words, not a list for any grade. No health information is filled in. The example child is invented and says so on the page. The cutting is the 12 word cards and the 8 binder tabs, each in one block with straight cuts.

Who This Is For
First through fifth grade classroom teachers, special education teachers and paraprofessionals who give a weekly spelling list, families helping at home, and the children who write the words.
