About this resource
The Cues
Stop, wait, quiet, raise hand, listen, sit, walk, calm, eyes — nine concrete classroom directions, each a real, already-existing picture (not an invented symbol), checked to be named in one word by a young child, in color AND in the black-and-white set.
The Chart And The Board
- Attention Cue Chart — all nine cues on one poster, meant to stay on the wall and be taught from directly.
- Attention Cue Board — a NOW SHOWING panel for the cue currently in use, and a six-slot strip that records the order cues were shown through the day.
- Two desk-size cue boards — two boards on one sheet, cut apart, for a folder or a second student.
The board and chart carry no pictures beyond the cue cards, so everything prints the same in color or black and white.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the board's name line, the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. The card pages print on cardstock or plain paper and cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers, paraprofessionals and general education partner teachers who use a shared set of visual cues to run a classroom, case managers who need that use to show up as data, and the families who get the home reference page sent home.
More In The Collection
This is one set in the Visual Supports Collection, alongside First-Then Board and Activity Picture Cards, Break Cards and Choice Board, Calm-Down Choice Cards and Feelings Chart and Check-In Cards; more picture-card sets are being added to the collection regularly, all on the same cards-plus-data shape.
