About this resource
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 21 pages, 232 type-in fields
- A Classroom Job Chart: all 7 jobs on one laminated page, plus one empty cell for a job this set does not cover
- A Quick Job Board: all 7 jobs, sized two-to-a-sheet for a desk corner or a different room
- All 7 jobs as cut-apart 2-inch cards on one sheet, in full color AND again on one sheet in a black-and-white ink-saver set
- 7 classroom jobs: Line Leader, Door Holder, Paper Passer, Calendar Helper, Recycling Helper, Plant Helper, Messenger
- 12 blank cards with a type-in job-name line, for any job the printed set does not cover
- A how-to page: before the week starts, the rotation every time, what to do at home, handing it to someone else, when a job is missing, waiting before stepping in, writing down what changes, and what this board is not
- A Job Assignment Log (18 rows: date, job assigned, who had it, independent?, notes, initials)
- A weekly roll-up (8 weeks) with a percent-independent graph
- A filled example — an invented student, two weeks of job rotations, every number re-counted from its own row
- A family page with all 7 jobs pictured
- A hand-off page (7 rows) so a paraprofessional or another classroom rotates the same job the same way
- A phrase bank: assignment language, written starters for the log, the roll-up and the note home
- A storage and binder label sheet: 12 labels and a spine strip
- Start Here, a contents page with page thumbnails, and a "what's next" back page
A classroom job board that comes with its own data. Most job boards stop at the picture grid; this one adds a second, smaller board, cut-apart cards in two print styles, a job assignment log, a weekly roll-up and a phrase bank behind it, so a job assigned today turns into a line on a page a case manager can bring to a meeting.
The Board And Cards
- The board: all 7 jobs on one page, laminated and never cut apart
- The quick board: all 7 jobs — Line Leader, Door Holder, Paper Passer, Calendar Helper, Recycling Helper, Plant Helper, Messenger — two to a sheet for a smaller, portable copy
- The cards (7) — the same 7 jobs, cut apart on one sheet so one can be rotated, carried to another room, or sent home
Every picture was chosen to be named in one word, in color AND in the black-and-white set, and rendered at print size before it was used. Cards are 2 inches square; the board's own cells are sized to match the same picture set.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. The board and card pages print on cardstock or plain paper; the cards cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.
It is a picture of classroom jobs every student can see, used to show or remind who does what right now. It is not an assessment, and it makes no claim about how long a student should hold a job or in what order. It carries no order to teach the jobs in and no rule about who works with whom; how the jobs are assigned, how long they rotate, and who works where is what your classroom's routine is. The goal line and the criterion field are blanks for your district's own wording and your team's own number. The log counts one thing: whether a student did the job independently.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers, classroom paraprofessionals and case managers in classrooms where students rotate through jobs daily or weekly, and the families who get the home page sent home.
More In The Collection
This is a single in the Visual Supports Collection, alongside First-Then Board and Activity Picture Cards, Core Vocabulary Communication Board (AAC) and Feelings Chart and Check-In Cards; more picture-card sets are being added to the collection regularly, all on the same cards-plus-data shape.
