About this resource
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 20 pages, 211 type-in fields
- Full-size Classroom Supply Bin Labels: all 7 items cut apart on one color sheet, 2 inches square
- A narrower Quick Shelf and Drawer Label strip, the same 7 items, sized for a drawer face rather than a bin front
- All 7 items again on one black-and-white ink-saver sheet, for a photocopier or a spare set
- 7 supply items: Pencils, Scissors, Paper, Crayons, Books, Rulers, Backpacks
- 12 blank labels with a type-in item-name line, for any supply the printed set does not cover
- A how-to page: before you label anything, teaching the routine, what to do at home, handing it to someone else, when an item is missing, waiting before stepping in, writing down what changes, and what these labels are not
- A Supply Return Log (18 rows: date, item, independent?, help given, initials)
- A weekly roll-up (8 weeks) with a percent-independent graph
- A filled example — an invented student, two weeks of supply returns, every number re-counted from its own row
- A family page with all 7 items pictured
- A hand-off page (7 rows, one per item) so a paraprofessional, substitute or volunteer finds the same bins
- A phrase bank: introducing language, written starters for the log, the roll-up and the note home
- A storage and binder label sheet: 10 labels and a spine strip
- Start Here, a contents page with page thumbnails, and a "what's next" back page
Picture labels that come with their own data. Most supply-label sets stop at the picture; this one adds a second, narrower label format for a drawer front, color and ink-saver sets, a return log, a weekly roll-up and a phrase bank behind it, so a bin a student uses today turns into a line on a page a case manager can bring to a meeting.
The Labels, In Two Sizes
- The full-size labels: all 7 items — Pencils, Scissors, Paper, Crayons, Books, Rulers, Backpacks — cut apart on one 2-inch card sheet
- The quick strip labels: the same 7 items, printed as a narrower strip for a drawer front with less room than a bin
- The blank labels (12): a type-in line to name any item this set does not cover, print, cut, stick on
Every picture was chosen to be named in one word, in color AND in the black-and-white set, and rendered at print size before it was used.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank labels, or print and use a pen. The label pages print on cardstock or plain paper; the labels cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.
It is a picture on a bin, shelf or drawer so a student can find or return an item without reading the word. It is not an assessment, and it makes no claim about how quickly a student should learn a bin or in what order. It carries no rule about which items get their own bin and no rule about how long a label should stay up; how the bins are arranged is what your classroom's routine is. The goal line and the criterion field are blanks for your district's own wording and your team's own number. The log counts one thing: whether a student found or returned an item independently.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers, classroom paraprofessionals and case managers setting up or maintaining labeled supply bins, shelves or drawers, and the families who get the home page sent home.
