About this resource

The store's ELL and Bilingual Student Progress Tracking Data Sheets Editable (17720129) is built for a DUAL-IDENTIFIED student — an English learner who also receives special education services. This file is for the much larger EL/ESOL caseload that is not dual-identified: ongoing progress monitoring across the four language domains — listening, speaking, reading and writing — plus classroom academic-vocabulary growth, for an EL or ESOL teacher running their own progress-monitoring cycle.

It is a fillable PDF. Open it in a PDF reader, click a line, a box or a cell, type, press Tab to move on, and Save As per student. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT a Google Sheets file, a Google Doc, or an Excel workbook, and it does not score a proficiency instrument or draw the graph for you.

It is not a proficiency test, a language screener, or an English-language curriculum, word list, or set of lesson plans. It never names a state or district ELP assessment, a proficiency scale, or a program model — every place one of those would go says "as your state's ELP assessment specifies," "as your program specifies," or gives a blank. It does not decide when a student enters or exits EL services or which program model a student receives — those are your team's own instrument and decision, recorded on a line this file provides but does not fill in. It is not for a dual-identified student receiving special education services alongside English-learner support (see ELL and Bilingual Student Progress Tracking Data Sheets Editable, 17720129, for that caseload). No age, eligibility, or IDEA-timeline claim anywhere.

EL and ESOL teachers, bilingual specialists, and the general education teachers and case managers who share a caseload of English learners not identified for special education services.
