About this resource
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 23 pages
- Four square grids, each drawn at its real size: 1 cm (page 5), 1/2 inch (page 6), 1/4 inch (page 7) and 1/8 inch (page 8). Print at 100 percent and a ruler agrees with the label
- Dot paper with dots 1 cm apart (page 9)
- A four-quadrant coordinate plane with numbered x- and y-axes, from -10 to 10 (page 10), and a page of four smaller planes, from -6 to 6, each with its own title line (page 11)
- A graph with type-in axis labels, type-in scale numbers and a "each square is worth" box on each axis (page 12)
- A bar graph template (page 13): six bars, ten lines up, type-in category names and scale numbers
- A line graph template (page 14): twelve columns, ten lines up, type-in scale numbers
- A count and tally sheet with 8 rows (page 15) and a graph checklist a child colors in (page 16)
- Type-in name, date and title on every graph page, so every page can be filed
- A "which paper, when" chooser with 10 rows and a print-size check (page 17)
- A graph log with 14 rows and a roll-up of graphs made (page 18)
- A note home with blanks in your own words (page 19)
- A phrase bank of 32 starters in 8 groups (page 20)
- A filled example: an invented student's bar graph of 24 votes and four plotted points, every total re-added from its own table (page 21)
- A binder cover, a spine label and 8 cut-apart tabs (page 22)
- Start Here, a contents page with page thumbnails, and a "what's next" back page
Graph paper printable, and editable too. Most graph paper pages are a blank grid with no name line and a size nobody checked. These grids are drawn in real millimeters, so a 1/4 inch square is a 1/4 inch square, and the graph pages give students a title line, labeled axes and a place to write their scale.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the pages, or print them and write by hand. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT a Google Doc, a spreadsheet or a slide show, it does not draw the graph for you, and you cannot drag the boxes around or restyle the pages.
It is working paper for everyday classroom graphing. Nothing on it grades a student. No health information is filled in. The example student is invented and says so on the page.

Who This Is For
Teachers, special education teachers, tutors and paraprofessionals who hand students in grades 3 through 12 graph paper, coordinate planes or a graph to fill in, and the families who get the note home.
