About this resource
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 24 pages, 260 type-in fields
- A 7-step Halloween class party schedule as a strip AND as numbered cut-apart cards: Line up, Balloon, Trophy, Candy, Pumpkin, Clean up, Walk back to class
- A Choice Board with a CHOICES panel and a MY CHOICE panel, plus 5 concrete party choice cards: ghost, cupcake, confetti ball, party popper, spider — with an at-a-glance reference table and sample pairings to start from
- Every card twice: a full-color set and a black-and-white ink-saver set (schedule strip, schedule cards and choice cards, all three)
- 12 blank cards with a type-in word line, for any schedule step or party choice the printed set does not cover
- A how-to page: printing and posting, running the schedule in order, the two moves at choice time, and how many choices to offer
- A Party Log that records BOTH pieces in one place: a schedule row (one letter per step: independently, with a prompt, not completed) and a choice-time row (choices offered, choice made, made independently) for the same rehearsal or the party itself
- A Roll-Up and Graph across sessions (a rehearsal, then the day) with a percent-of-steps-independent line and a made-independently flag for the choice board
- A filled example — an invented student, one rehearsal on the log and three sessions on the roll-up, every percent re-counted from its own row
- A family page with the schedule in order, all five party choices on one sheet, and blanks for how the day went
- A hand-off page so a paraprofessional or another room runs the same schedule and board the same way
- A phrase bank: 20 lines in 5 groups (spoken lines for the schedule and the board, written starters for the log, the roll-up, the family page and the hand-off)
- A storage and binder label sheet: 10 labels (two card sets plus eight reference labels) and a spine strip
- Start Here, a contents page with page thumbnails, and a "what's next" back page
NO COSTUME-PARADE CARD. There is no single concrete picture for "a costume" that would not misname the actual costume a student wears, so this file does not include one — the how-to page says plainly that a costume share, if your room does one, is your own addition between two cards. Nothing in this file depicts a costume, a mask, or any named character.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the board, the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. The card and strip pages print on cardstock or plain paper and cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.
It is a posted, numbered picture schedule for one class event, a choice board for one part of it, and a place to record what happened. It is not a behavior plan, a safety procedure, or a program of any kind, and it promises no outcome. It carries no prompt hierarchy, fading schedule or mastery rule; how it is used with a student, and for how long, is what your team's plan says. The goal line and the criterion field are blanks for your district's own wording and your team's own number.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers, paraprofessionals and general education partner teachers who want a Halloween class party to run the same predictable way every year for a student who does better with a posted order and a real choice inside it, case managers who need that use to show up as data, and the families who get the home page sent home.
