About this resource
November morning work for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, ready to print. This is 36 pages: 20 daily pages (4 weeks of 5 days), each with a math strip on top and a reading strip below. Type the name and the answers, or print the pages and write by hand.
EVERYTHING INSIDE (36 pages)
- 20 daily pages: 4 weeks, 5 days a week. Every page has one math strip and one reading strip, 114 math answers and 84 reading answers to write in all.
- The same five days every week, so children learn the routine once. Math: Count and Write, Ten Frames, Add and Subtract, Compare, Tally Graph. Reading: CVC Words, Sight Words, Sound Sort, Unscramble, Write a Sentence.
- 4 weekly themes: Thankful Hearts, Falling Leaves, Harvest Table, Kind Actions. Each week builds on the one before it: bigger numbers, more vowels, harder sentence work.
- 20 CVC words, 16 sight words, 12 unscramble sentences and 4 writing prompts across the month.
- Start Here and a How To Use page, week by week.
- 4 answer-key pages (one a week), a four-week tracker, a class grid and a filled example for an invented student.
- A family note, a phrase bank of 15 starters in 5 groups, a binder cover with a spine strip and 4 weekly divider tabs.
- The terms of use and a thank-you page with what to try next.
How To Use It
Print one page a day, or print the whole week. Each strip has one short direction with a pencil next to it, so children can start on their own. Use the answer keys to check, then write the date and the number right on the tracker. One strip as a warm-up and the other as a finisher works too.
Built For The Child Holding The Page
Each daily page has a big "My name" line, short directions and big numbers in a rounded school font. A colored border marks the week, and a small shape in the page foot shows the week (circle, square, triangle). Nothing on a daily page is written for an adult. Dots, ten frames and tally marks are drawn black on white, so every page still reads when copied in black and white. Nothing is cut or glued: it is pencil work.
Type In, Or Print
The name and date on every daily page, the answer boxes and lines, the tracker, the class grid, the family note and every notes area are type-in fields in any PDF reader. 418 fields in all. You can also print any page. Print at 100 percent with fit-to-page turned off. This is a fillable PDF; it is not a Google Slides or PowerPoint file.
Who This Is For
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classrooms, self-contained and resource rooms, centers, and tutors who want a month of low-prep morning work. Your team decides which week each child starts on.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
This is working paper for morning practice. It has no scores, no benchmarks and no grade-level claims, and it is not a full math or reading program. Sentence pages vary; the key says what to look for.
