About this resource
A child can tell you who is in the story. Ask where it happens, what goes wrong and how it gets fixed, and the answers get harder to find. This is a set of story elements graphic organizers for 1st through 3rd grade: six blank organizers you can use with any book, and four short original stories with questions a child can answer from the text.

Built For The Child Holding The Page
A big "My name" line, one short instruction with a small icon, large rounded type, boxes to draw in and lines with real spacing. Nothing on a student page is written for an adult, there is no score, and no student page needs scissors or glue. Every answer in the four stories is stated in the story, and the wrong choices are things the story does not say.
Type In, Or Print
The name and date lines, every ruled line, the number boxes on the ordering pages, the log, class grid and family note are type-in fields in any PDF reader. Circle choices and picture boxes are for pencil. Every page prints clean in black and white. This is a fillable PDF; it is not a Google Slides or PowerPoint file.
