About this resource

A restorative writing tool, not a behavior plan: blank letter frames that help a student put into words what happened, who it affected, and what they will do differently, at three independent writing levels, plus a speaking script, a class letter, and an action plan for making it right.

WHAT IS INCLUDED - 16 pages, 207 type-in fields

Setup

Three Writing Levels, A Speaking Script, And A Class Letter

What This Is, And What It Is Not

It is a fillable PDF. Type or handwrite; both work, and the page still reads when photocopied in black and white. It is NOT a Google Sheets file, a Google Doc, or an Excel workbook, and it does not grade or score anything a student writes.

It is not a behavior plan, a disciplinary form, a referral, or a statement of consequences. Nothing on any page says why an incident happened or what should happen to the student next; that is your school’s own practice, and page 3 carries a blank line for it instead of a guess. The example student is invented and labeled as invented; no real student information is pre-filled anywhere.

Who This Is For

Special education teachers, general education teachers, counselors, and administrators who want a calm, consistent way to help a student put a hard moment into words, at whatever writing level that student is at, in writing or out loud.
