About this resource
One school year, one box a day. Ten real monthly calendars (August 2026 through May 2027, Sunday through Saturday) with a small type-in box for every day, a whole-class weekly quick glance, a home take-home mini-calendar, a year-at-a-glance tally that rolls all ten months into one page, a family update letter with a phrase bank, and a filled example with the arithmetic checked.
WHAT IS INCLUDED - 18 pages, 480 type-in fields
Setup And Key
- How This Calendar Works - a chooser that matches your situation to the page you need, what's inside in the order you'd use it, and what this file is and is not
- Rating Key and Quick-Glance Views - set a four-code key once (Great, Steady, Tough, Absent/No School, or write in your team's own letters, numbers, colors or stickers), an optional whole-class weekly quick glance (one code per student per day, every student, one week), and an optional home take-home mini-calendar (the same key, sent home for a family)
Ten Monthly Calendars
- August 2026 through May 2027, one page per month - a real 7-column, Sunday-through-Saturday grid for that month with a type-in box for every day that falls in it
Summary And Communication
- Year-at-a-Glance Tally - a 10-row table to copy each month's Great/Steady/Tough/Absent counts onto one row, plus a filled example showing the arithmetic
- Family Update Letter and Phrase Bank - a short note home with blanks for your own wording, and starter phrases to finish them with what you actually saw
- Binder Cover and Quarter Tabs - print, cut, and insert in a three-ring binder: one cover and four tabs, one per quarter of the school year
- A filled example: one invented fourth grader's week, and how that month might roll up onto the year-at-a-glance tally, with the numbers added so they can be checked
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF. Open it in a PDF reader, click a box, type a code, and save, or print the calendar and write by hand - both work, and the key means the same thing either way. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT a Google Sheets file, a Google Doc or an Excel workbook, and it does not total anything automatically.
It is not a behavior plan, a functional behavior assessment, or a scoring system that assigns a label to a student. It is a record of which day was which kind of day, in your team's own words; what any pattern across the calendar means is your team's own call, never a conclusion this file makes for you.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers and case managers tracking a daily behavior pattern across a full school year, the paraprofessionals and specials teachers who use the whole-class quick glance, and families who want the same simple key at home.
