About this resource

EVERYTHING INSIDE — 22 pages, 251 type-in fields

A rotation system for eight fixed classroom centers, built around how center time actually runs: stations that stay put while small groups rotate through an order the teacher sets, not one fixed sequence every student walks once. The status board shows who is where right now; the order board and carry cards set and carry the day's rotation; the log, roll-up and example turn a group's moves into a line a case manager can bring to a meeting.

The Eight Centers

Every picture was chosen to be named in one word by a young child, in color AND in the black-and-white set. Six of the eight cards reuse an already-shipped picture under its already-shipped word (art, reading, writing, computer, science and snack all match First-Then Board's own cards, letter for letter); Listening reuses the collection's existing headphones picture under a new station-name reading, disclosed in the file. Blocks has no clean Unicode picture at all — the only candidate reads as a brick wall in both sets — so that one card is drawn in-house instead: three flat stacked squares, a different house color each, with a solid black ink-saver twin. Cards are 2.5 inches square.

The Boards

None of the three boards decide how many centers a room runs at once, how many rounds fit a session, or which student belongs in which group — every one of those is a blank field for your team's own plan.

What This Is, And What It Is Not

It is a fillable PDF: type into every board, the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. The card pages print on cardstock or plain paper and cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.

It is a status board for who is at which center right now, an order board for one group's rotation, and a place to write down what happened. It is not a grouping or placement tool, a behavior plan, or a program of any kind, and it promises no outcome. It carries no prompt hierarchy, fading schedule or mastery rule; how many centers run, how long a round lasts, and who is in which group are your team's own decisions. The goal line and the criterion field are blanks for your district's own wording and your team's own number. The log counts one thing: whether a group started a center on its own.

Who This Is For

Special education teachers and paraprofessionals who run center rotations, case managers who need that routine to show up as data, and the families who get the home page sent home.
