About this resource
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 25 pages, 250 type-in fields
- One flat full-day board: 10 numbered open slots, printed once and laminated, stocked fresh with whichever picture cards today needs
- 36 activity picture cards, 2 inches square: 12 classroom subjects, 12 specials and related services (speech, OT, PT, a counselor, a nurse, PE, a computer lab, a social skills group, a general pull-out, a one-on-one para, a specialist check-in, vision support), and 12 day's-routine cards (arrival through dismissal and home)
- Every card twice: a full-color set for a laminated board and a black-and-white ink-saver set for the photocopier
- A new page in this collection: a "Something Is Different Today" schedule-change card — a before/after picture comparison, a plain countdown row, and type-in lines for what is changing and what stays the same, meant to be shown before the change happens
- 12 blank cards with a type-in word line, for anything the printed set does not cover
- A how-to page: building the board, the one move at every slot, specials and pull-outs, what to do when today is not a normal day
- A daily schedule log (18 rows: date, whether today's board ran with no changes, what changed in your own words, initials)
- A weekly roll-up (8 weeks) with a percent-of-days-with-no-changes graph
- A filled example — an invented student, one week drawn out day by day on the log and three weeks on the roll-up, every percent re-counted from its own row
- A family page built around this ONE student's own day (not a classroom set): six home cards from this student's bank, a weekly initials table, and blanks for what worked and what to flag ahead of time
- A hand-off page for a paraprofessional, a substitute or another room, built around this one student's ten slots (not a classroom-wide zone plan)
- A phrase bank: 25 lines in 6 groups (spoken lines for the board, written starters for the log, the roll-up, the note home, and the schedule-change card)
- A storage and binder label sheet: 12 labels and a spine strip
- Start Here, a contents page with page thumbnails, and a "what's next" back page
Most visual-schedule products on this shelf are a card set, or a bound format (a ring flipbook or a fold-in-half folder). This one is the flat, build-it-fresh-each-morning shape: one board, ten slots, stocked by hand for whatever today actually holds — including the related-service and specials slots a single student's real day carries, not just classroom work time — plus its own daily log, roll-up and a dedicated card for the day the schedule changes.
The Board
One page, ten numbered slots in order, each with its own picture pocket and a type-in time/activity line, and an ALL DONE pocket along the bottom. Print it once and laminate it; only the cards change from day to day.
The Schedule-Change Card
A second, separate page for the day something is different: a USUALLY/TODAY picture comparison, a 3-2-1-GO countdown row, and two type-in lines for what is changing and what stays the same. Meant to be shown once, before the change, as its own short step — not folded into the daily board.
The Cards
- Classroom Subjects (12) — reading, writing, math, letters, computer, science, art, music, homework, calendar, puzzle, coloring
- Specials and Related Services (12) — speech, OT, PT, counselor, nurse, PE, computer lab, social skills group, pull-out therapy, para support, check-in, vision support
- The Day's Routine (12) — arrival, breakfast, bathroom, snack, lunch, recess, specials, clean up, pack up, bus, dismissal, home
Every picture was checked by hand to make sure it exists cleanly in both the color and black-and-white sets before it entered the file; no picture or word repeats within this bank. Cards are 2 inches square, sized for a velcro dot.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the board, the schedule-change card, the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. The card pages print on cardstock or plain paper and cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.
It is a way to lay out one student's whole day in pictures. It is not a behavior plan, a point system with rules or a program of any kind, and it promises no outcome. It carries no prompt hierarchy, fading schedule or mastery rule; how the board is used with a student, and for how long, is what your team's plan says. The goal line and the criterion field are blanks for your district's own wording and your team's own number. The log counts one thing: whether today's printed board ran with no changes.
Who This Is For
Special education teachers and case managers who need one student's whole day laid out on a single board rather than reset at every transition, students who move between a resource room, specials and related services across the day, and the paraprofessionals, substitutes and families who need the same board to run the same way everywhere it goes.
More In The Collection
This is the third schedule format in the Visual Supports Collection: a flat, build-fresh-each-day board, alongside the ringed, tabbed Visual Schedule Template Flipbook and the fold-in-half Visual Support Folder. More picture-card sets — schedule cards, routine strips, choice boards, break and calm-down cards — are being added to the collection regularly, all on the same cards-plus-data shape.
