About this resource

A month of independent reading, on one real calendar page. This is a fillable PDF built around a

month-at-a-glance calendar grid — a box for every day, Sunday through Saturday — not a weekly log

with a small roll-up table. No dates are pre-printed, so the same page works for any month of any

year. There is no reading-level assessment and no required number of minutes; every goal and policy

line is blank for your own classroom's practice.

WHAT IS INCLUDED — 16 pages: a real calendar grid, a lighter weekly log, a whole-class tracker, an

in-class reading center log, a school-break family version, response starters, a roll-up graph, a

family update, and a filled example

What This Is, And What It Is Not

It is a fillable PDF: open it in a PDF reader, click a line or a box, type, and Save As once per

month. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is not a Google Sheets file, a Google

Doc, or an Excel workbook, and it does not count or calculate for you.

It is not a reading-level assessment and it does not set a required number of minutes a day; that

number is your team's to decide, not invented by this file. It is not a duplicate of a weekly

reading log with a parent-signature line — this file's calendar grid is a true month-at-a-glance

page, with a box for every day, not a small table of weekly totals. It is a general classroom tool,

not a case-manager or IEP-specific file.

Who This Is For

General classroom teachers, reading specialists, paraprofessionals, classroom library or reading

center staff, and families tracking a month of independent reading.
