About this resource

EVERYTHING INSIDE — 23 pages, 215 type-in fields

A card-by-card checklist a student moves through, not a preference board and not a fixed routine strip: any mix of the 24 task cards (or a blank one) goes in TO DO, and the student's own job is to move each one to ALL DONE as it gets finished. Most checklist visuals stop at the pictures; this one adds a completion log, a weekly roll-up and a phrase bank behind it, so moving a card with less help over time turns into a line on a page a family or case manager can bring to a meeting.

The Two Task Categories

Every picture was chosen to be named in one word or short phrase by a young child, in color AND in the black-and-white set. Cards are 2 inches square.

What This Is, And What It Is Not

It is a fillable PDF: type into the log, the roll-up, the family page, the hand-off page and the blank cards, or print and use a pen. The board, strip and card pages print on cardstock or plain paper and cut along dashed lines. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT an editable online slideshow or word-processor document.

It is a way to show a student what is left to do and what is finished, in pictures, and a place to record whether each move needed help. It is not a reward chart or a token system — nothing is earned for moving a card — and it is not a behavior plan or a program of any kind. It carries no prompt hierarchy, fading schedule or mastery rule; how it is used with a student, and for how long, is what your team's plan says. The goal line and the criterion field are blanks for your district's own wording and your team's own number. The log counts one thing: whether a card moved to All Done on the student's own, not what kind of help was given or in what order to remove it.

Who This Is For

Special education teachers, paraprofessionals and families who need a visual for a multi-step task list — morning routines, independent work sessions, classroom jobs — case managers who need that teaching to show up as data, and the teams who get the update sent home.

More In The Collection

This is part of the Visual Supports Collection, alongside First-Then Board and Activity Picture Cards, Hand Washing Visual Schedule Cards, Unpacking Visual Schedule Cards, and the free First Then Board and Visual Supports starter set; more picture-card sets — routine strips, choice boards, calm-down cards — are being added to the collection regularly, all on the same cards-plus-data shape.
