About this resource

A UFLI spelling assessment sheet you fill in yourself: a blank recording form for the spelling dictation you already give with UFLI Foundations. Type the words or sentences you dictated, write what the student wrote, mark each one, name the error patterns in your own words, and log the re-test. This is a recording form, not a word list: there is no UFLI lesson name, word list, sentence or script anywhere in this file, and it does not dictate, score or grade anything.

Five Ways To Record

What This Is, And What It Is Not

It is a fillable PDF: open it in a PDF reader, click a line or a cell, type, and Save As once per student or group. It also prints cleanly in black and white. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is not a Google Sheets file, a Google Doc, or an Excel workbook, and it does not connect to any UFLI system.

It is NOT UFLI Foundations and does not reproduce any UFLI lesson, word list, sentence or script. It does not dictate, score or grade anything or set a pass line: every word, sentence, mark and rule is blank for you and your team. Example students and words are invented.
