- 6 point-to pages, 26 picture directions in all: 10 one-step, 8 two-step, 8 three-step. Every direction has 3 picture choices (78 choices). On two- and three-step cards the pictures are in order, and a card with the same pictures in a different order is not the answer
- 8 listen-and-color scenes in black and white: a mailbox, a teddy bear party, a flower garden, a sweet shop, love letters, pets, two Valentine friends, hearts and a butterfly. Each scene comes with 5 directions to read (40 in all): 16 one-step, 16 two-step, 8 three-step. The child colors, draws, and checks a box for each direction

The Pictures
21 pictures, flat shapes drawn for this set (heart, cupcake, chocolates) and Valentine clip art (valentine card, mailbox, envelope, teddy bear, candy jar, flower, bird, ribbon, key, lock, cat, dog, letter, stamp, bow, butterfly, girl, boy).
How It Works
Pick a level by the shape at the top corner of the page: circle for one step, square for two, triangle for three. Read the direction out loud, or let the child read it. The child circles, colors, draws or glues. You choose the pages, the order and how you keep notes.
What This Set Is And Is Not
It is a set of picture directions to teach and practice with. It is NOT progress-monitoring probes: it has no scoring, no assessment and no timeline. It is a PDF to print, not a fillable PDF, and not Google Slides or a PowerPoint file.
The Look
Scene settings are drawn in flat shapes; most pictures are Whimsy Clips art in color and black and white, one set of art on every page. Fonts are KA Fonts. The file is secured so the art cannot be lifted out of it.
