About this resource
Visual schedule to do all done: a To Do side, an arrow, and an All done box. A child takes a picture card from the To Do side, does the job, and moves the card across to All done, so they can see what is left and what is finished. Print, cut once, laminate, add velcro dots. 28 pages.
EVERYTHING INSIDE (28 pages)
- 3 boards, each a To Do column, an arrow and an All done box: a board of 3 big slots, a board of 5 slots and a board of 6 slots. Each board has a "My name" line.
- 48 different picture cards: 23 for the school day (read, write, math, backpack, lunch box, bus, calendar, clean up and more), 13 for routines at home (wash hands, brush teeth, bed, bath, dinner, shoes, coat and more) and 12 for play and moving (puzzle, blocks, games, jump, slide, climb and more). Every card is labeled with what its picture shows.
- The cards come in color (3 sheets, a colored ring for each group) and in a black-and-white ink-saver set (3 sheets). Each sheet has 20 cards, and each set adds 12 blank cards with a box to draw in and a line to type or write the word.
- 12 big cards for the board of 3, 6 to a sheet on 2 sheets.
- 20 tick cards in 4 colors, to put on a finished card.
- 4 checklists for children who do not need a board: My School Day, My Morning at Home and My Bedtime (8 pictures each, with a tick box) and a write-in My List (draw it or write it).
- A My Turn tick strip: 5 rows of 6 ticks for a child to color, with a line to write what was finished.
- Teacher pages: Start Here, set-up page (board sizes, prep, the four moves), a daily planner, a filled example for an invented child, a weekly roll-up (14 rows), a note for home, a what-to-say bank, and a binder cover, spine and tabs.
- Terms of use and a thank-you page.
How To Use It
Print at 100 percent. Trim each card sheet on its solid lines (the cards touch edge to edge, so each cut is one straight line across the sheet), laminate, and put a soft velcro dot on the back of each card. Put a hook dot in each To Do slot on the board. Load the cards in order. The child takes the top card, does the job, and moves the card to All done. Add a tick card if you like.
Built For Little Hands
The cards are 1.47 by 1.8 inches and fit the board slots; the big cards are 3 by 2.9 inches. The pictures are drawn for this set and read at a glance, in color and in black and white. The student pages have a big "My name" line, one short direction with a picture, and room to tick or color.
Print And Cut, With A Few Type-In Lines
214 type-in lines (the blank cards, the planner, the roll-up, the family note, the binder labels) work in any PDF reader, or print and write by hand. This is a PDF; it is not a Google Slides or PowerPoint file, and the boards, pictures and cards themselves are not editable.
Who This Is For
PreK to 2nd grade classrooms, including self-contained and resource rooms, paraprofessionals, and families who want the same pictures at home.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
A classroom and home visual support, and your own working notes. Your team's plan for a child comes first; this set does not replace it. The roll-up only holds counts; what to do with them is your team's decision.
