About this resource
You want to see one student's day and week at a glance, and you want the student to have a say. This is the tracker for both, in one fillable PDF.
EVERYTHING INSIDE — 20 pages
- Start Here, a contents page with page thumbnails and a page chooser
- A binder cover, spine label and 4 section tab labels: type your name and class, then print
- Our Four Expectations (Kind words, Safe body, Listening ears, Try my best): type what each looks like and sounds like in your room, plus a blank for your school's own rule
- 6 tracker forms: a daily tracker (11 rows, one per block), a check strip for another adult (3 per page, for a paraprofessional, sub or specials teacher), a weekly tracker (4 expectations by 5 days, plus notes by day), a monthly roll-up (6 weeks) with a graph to color, a tally of one behavior (10 rows), and a class overview (17 student rows)
- 2 student pages: My Day Check (circle a face for each expectation, write one good thing) and My Week (color a box each day, draw your best part)
- 8 desk check slips to cut, each with a name line and four pictures
- A check-in talk page: teacher mark, student mark and whether they match
- A family update with blanks in your own words
- A phrase bank of 32 starters in 8 groups
- A filled example: one invented student, one week, every number re-added from its own row
The marks are plain: Y for yes, S for some of the time, N for not yet. The same three faces are on the student pages, so the teacher mark and the student mark line up. The desk slips are edge to edge, 8 to a page (one cut down, three across), so there are no tiny scraps. Print on cardstock.
What This Is, And What It Is Not
It is a fillable PDF: type into the trackers, or print and use a pen. It works offline with no account or subscription. It is NOT a Google Slides, Google Docs or Google Sheets file, and you cannot drag the boxes around or restyle the pages. It does not add up marks for you; there is a place on each page to write the total.
It is working paper for counting what you see. It is not a behavior plan, a grade, a point economy or a label for a child. What your school expects, and what happens next, is your school's own, and it gets a blank line on page 6. The student and the teacher in the example are invented and say so on the page.
